I still wonder about Nick Morelli. I read the book at the beginning of the month, and I can't remember how many times he appeared. Did Maggie call him and have a female answer the phone? He seemed good in Boston when Gwen came to interview Justin.
That boy's story still lingers and I want him to be whole again.
Yes to your question. Seems like Morelli's going to be in the background of every story.
I thought it was a huge plot hole when Brandon visited Eric in jail. Seems to me they would have explored his background extensively, especially after Emma gave a description of him. This was just not believable.

I don't mind Morelli, but if he is not going to become a larger part of the story, I just wish the author would write him out. I don't like him lingering on the edges of the story.Jonetta, my eyebrows shot up to my hairline when the police let Brandon into the jail for visitation with Eric. First off, I don't believe they would have let Eric have visitors. And, the police would be checking out anyone who even requested a visit with Eric, especially someone young enough to be involved with the same group Eric was in. I forgot all about the fact that Emma gave the police his description when Ginny was murdered. Of course, the police wouldn't be looking for him in connection to Eric's case.
They had a bulletin out for him as a suspect in a murder case. Eric was in federal custody so this was beyond my ability to suspend reality to believe Brandon could saunter into that jail undetected.
