Somebody added the cover. The record was added by a bot. Sometimes ISBNs from reprints become associated with pre-ISBN editions, as this 1966 one is. Don't know if I can add Book Club Edition to this, as they have no ISBNs by default and are usually slightly different in size from the 'normal' edition.
Does your title page look the same as on this edition? https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

The date "1966" isn't on my page but the rest is exactly the same.
Then shouldn't the ISBN be removed?I've seen books on here marked as "Pre ISBN" and I've also seen books noted as book club editions.
Not trying to be difficult just trying to make sure I shelve the book that I have.

No, because we don't make separate records for reprints if there aren't significant changes (like a new cover, etc.).

Can I add a new Book Club Edition for Edwina's copy, and merge the edition that has the title page as a cover with the link in comment #1?

So a book club edition isn't consider a new edition but a reprint?
Sorry ... I'm still learning the proper way to do things here.

It varies, actually. Sometimes bookclub editions are externally identical, with just an indication on the internal title page. Other times they are distinctly different even on the cover.

If you do a google search on the ISBN in the first comment, it shows the cover that goes with that book. Didn't think about doing that until now.I think the book in comment #2 should have the cover of the book I have as it seems to be the first edition printing and I have the book club edition.

It's from AbeBooks, the same image that Amazon has.

Does that mean you agree with what I wrote in comment #6, namely to merge the book in comment #2 with the book linked to in comment #1, and add a separate edition for your copy?

Not sure if I need an ACE or if the above book is the one I have. Mine has no ISBN but this one does.
