It's almost summer...though you wouldn't know it by the weather! (0.0) What are you reading this month to keep the chill away?

Courtnie (bookcupidity) I just finished Night Film last night and am still in such awe that all other books I'm contemplating for lunch-time reading are seriously lacking...

But, I'm going to finish A Rose in Winter next I think. I have The Troop checked out, however I'm horrible about pre-planning what I read, it's like the kiss of death, so hopefully I actually do read it. I'm a fly by the seat of my pants reader.

Peter Pan

And I have requested

A Game of Thrones and A Clash of Kings which are on hold at the JoCo library where I am now a patron since my move. I miss MCPL so much!

Finished listening to Kitty Takes a Holiday by Carrie Vaughn. I am enjoying this series. Seems I went from vampires to werewolves.

Do you want to read within your genre or outside of your genre?

Erica (kcmomto2) | 7 comments Love Walked In, by Marisa de los Santos is a wonderful novel. I had heard OF it, but didn't know what it was about. Very pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed her writing style. Descriptive and emotive and very empathetic.

Abigail | 32 comments If you like women's lit, try Escape or Skyward by Barbara Delinsky. Both moving stories that I got lost in and even racked up a fine over.
If you like paranormal, try Paranormalcy (Paranormalcy, #1) by Kiersten White

I loved it and am requesting the next ones in this series.

I prefer urban fantasy, mysteries, but would try something new
