actually, the edit log shows that Otis DELETED the info, not added it. not the first time i've seen that, either. i have always assumed that otis updates were like onix updates, in that they were probably automated database updates that may or may not be accurate.

Those edits are Otis (actually, a script he was running) removing the pub dates. Those of us who remember the end of January 2012 will remember why. Any similar data removed like that by Otis' script January 27-30, 2012 can be reverted.
