Hello. I am editing a series of anthologies on wicked problems, the challenging, interconnected issues like climate change, disease, and war that tend to defy solution. Our first book, "What do we do about inequality?" is currently on promotion in the UK where it's on sale for £0.99 for the next 3+ days before returning to its regular price of £7.01. The book consists of 37 essays from a diverse group of thinkers including: academics, activists, artists, business and non-profit leaders, and economists. It offers quite a variety of perspectives to consider while also suggesting many possibilities which might lead to outcomes that are more just than those that are currently endured. The goal of the project is to give the reader a wide variety of perspectives from which they might update their own, rather than trying to win them over to any "expert's" way of thinking. We're getting ready to start on our second book, which will be based on the question, "What do we do with technology?" That effort will cast a moral/ethical lens on the rapidly evolving technological environment. We're planning to release that book in spring of 2017. I'd be happy to have the opportunity to answer questions about the book, or the project as a whole. -Chris
Patti and Karen, That's encouraging to hear. :) By the way, if anyone wants to check the book out, there's obviously the Kindle sample, or you can get a longer (PDF) excerpt by signing up for the newsletter on our site. Thank you, -Chris
