#BooktubeSFF Babbles: Overlooked Fantasy
Recommend a handful of overlooked fantasy books that you think should gain more exposure on Booktube.

Here is your chance to sing the praises of fantasy books that you want more people to read.

Katie (katiereadsthings2020) | 17 comments Mine's up, I didn't feel I had enough recommendations to contribute so I ended up talking about lesser known fantasy I cannot wait to read:

Paul (paul_sff) | 70 comments What blows about being out of the reading game for about 10 years is that I am trying to catch up with all the "mega-hit" books and so my overlooked, under-rated fantasy books are a little weak. https://youtu.be/OQf6yUqKm40

Alok Talekar (atalekar) | 5 comments some random suggestions
The Worm Ouroboros really amazing prose, and storyline in this pre-tolkien high fantasy work. Not talked about even though it is part of fantasy masterworks.

Rumo & His Miraculous Adventures - almost any book by walter moers for whimsical fantasy.

Swords and Deviltry classical fantasy by firtz lieber, was a big topic of discussion long long ago but not as much in the internet age.

Nope, Overlooked Sci-fi is the topic for April 14th. A full list of topics is here.

Jay (okay_jay) | 10 comments Manly Wade Wellman's Silver John stories are some of the greatest dark fantasy tales I have ever read. Based on rural American folklore, they focus on John, a man with a Silver-stringed guitar, as he wanders the South, singing songs and battling supernatural mischief.
The Zamonia books by Walter Moers, starting with The 13½ Lives of Captain Bluebear, are great, humorous books that seem childish, but some are pretty grim. I love them.
And John Connolly]'s Samuel Johnson series, beginning with The Gates, is great middle-grade fun.
