Do you discount your books for schools?

LaughingLeopardPress | 4 comments Hello!
I am looking to begin talking to schools about potentially buying our picture book. I wasn't sure, though, if I should offer the schools a discount or not. I looked at some market prices and it seems the big companies actually sell books to schools for more than they charge the general public. Obviously we don't have the leverage of a big company, but I wondered what schools expect. I wondered if any of you had had any experience with this and had any suggestions. Any advice would be appreciated, thank you!

Justin (justinbienvenue) I've never considered getting my books in schools however because I'm with Createspace and they have a button for "Libraries and Academic Institutions" which means Libraries and schools can get copies of the book at their own discretion.
