Wm Seabrook Some of the reviews of this book describe 'a lighter book'. Not sure I agree. This has very great depth and needs to be read very carefully, and more than once. Notice the dedicatee!

Matthias Hejlskov I agree, it definitely has a very "wolfe" depth where you never know if the narrator is lying to you, or even ehat actually happened.

I haven't re-read it yet as my reading list is too long, but definitely will when I have the time.

Ken I think the surface reflections are of a brighter hue, but yes - it certainly bears the stamp of Wolfe proudly.
