Adding New Books > Request to add 4 books, It seems this is being ignored while others are being solved so I'm trying to do it myself.

Peter | 9 comments Wasn't Added after 24 hours, so I did it myself. I hope I did everything correctly.

https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

states: Link to cover on a NON-BOOKSELLER site, so I thought they were ok.

These books aren't being printed anymore, 1 of the Publishers doesn't even exist anymore. So it's these images (that are correct, I've checked), or none.

MrsJoseph *grouchy* (mrsjoseph) | 535 comments The links I clicked all seem to be d/l? If they are covers of books that you actually own and you aren't linking directly to a seller, I think you may be ok.

I have not downloaded any of the covers - nothing personal but I don't d/l from unknown sources - so I can't say what the files actually look like.

lethe | 13676 comments In that case it's none, I'm afraid.

Only covers from authors' and publishers' sites, (public/national) library sites, Amazon/AbeBooks/Book Depository, and users' own scans or photos are allowed.

Have deleted the covers. (The books were added correctly.)

The links are in comment #1, it's a Belgian comics database.

All of those links attempt to download a file to my computer.

So if I take a picture of my copies, can I use those?

Yes.

How odd, now I'm on my laptop they try to do that too. Earlier I was on my iPad, and I just saw a full-page image. Going back to http://stripinfo.be, I could see it was a comics database (and had "all rights reserved" at the bottom of the page).

I could only take the pictures this weekend since my girlfriend had the camera with her. But now I can't edit the photos anymore, what to do?

The images I took from my personal copies can be found here:
