Breanett | 5 comments David is rude towards his grandmother because he dislikes the idea of her replacing his mother. Primrose doesn't live with her mother and instead lives in a van outside her moms house this is because she is embarrassed of her mom. The characters in this book both have an external conflict with the other characters.

message 8: by Brandon(; (new)

Brandon(; | 5 comments So far the conflict in the novel is Joey's alcoholic mother. She has been acting strangely after she's been with friends. This has been happening constantly & it drives Joey crazy. He seems like the adult in his perspective because he wants his mom to stop drinking. His mom is then taken to rehab to help her.

message 9: by Diana (new)

Diana | 6 comments The main conflict of this book is that Evan is a silencer and Cassie doesn't know. Cassie doesn't know that he was the one that shot her in the leg. Also, the conflict is that the others took her brother and Cassie is coming back for him.

The main conflict of the story is David getting abused by his mother. His mother doesn't love him and he's living a bad childhood. He wants to survive through the hell house with his mother. He finds ways to survive.
