Describe the main conflict that exists in the novel. It can be either an external or internal conflict (3 sentences minimum!).

Cerinna (cerinnatish) | 5 comments In the book, Cassia was matched by the officials with her best friend Xander. However, the information she received that was supposed to be about Xander, revealed another boy that was not part of the Society. Cassia is currently curious on why that happened because the officials "never" makes mistakes.

Aldo | 5 comments The main conflict that exists in the novel is that not only the main characters but all of the characters on the novel are trying to escape the "game of death" that they were trapped in.This is a serious conflict because every character has something they love and miss from the real world they are originally from, which is what makes them strive for survival and motivates them to hope that someday they will beat the last floor of the game and be free once again.

Alfred | 4 comments The conflict in the novel, Kidnapped, is when David Balfour is abandoned by his suspicious, detested, uncle who attempted to kill Davie(David). Simultaneously to the abandonment, Davie is hit in the back of the head to the extent where he is unconscious. As he wakes up he is ensnared in the Covenent(ship) where he is mandated to "indentured servitude".
