I am more into YA Romance and Fantasy genre..just to let you know of my preference.

And I'm a very slow reader. So,I prefer books with less than 300 pages , so that I can finish it on time!!

It seems that you like Non-Fiction from your shelf, with an exception of Genre- Dystopia and Thriller.

And I've read really good reviews on:
1.The Girl on the Train
2.1984, which is dystiopian.
3.The Martian, has a film based on it which you can enjoy after finishing the book.
4.Sea of Poppies, ofcourse of your taste, from Amitav Gosh!!! Yaaay!! :D
5.The Discovery of India
6.The Silkworm, which is on a reading spree!
7.Mr. Mercedes

No. You can select any book from his shelf. Although you can also ask for his suggestion but it's all on you.

And yeah, prefer the ones I can get a Kindle version of.

Go Kiss the World Life Lessons For The Young Professional by Subroto Bagchi
And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie
Train to Pakistan by Khushwant Singh
Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

All for are of different genres. I find that the bottom three are in your To read list and Go kiss was a great experience for me(hence strongly suggested) .

In order of preference i pick
Sea of poppies
Silkworm
Discovery of india
Mr Mercedes
1984;big dystopian doze recently
Martian and girl on train:already watched the movie :(

I will look for which i can arrange an ebook

The only book I have read from this list, is Train To Pakistan. And I love it.
