personality :. always seeming poised and regal, aednate acts like a queen- merciful but strong, with a hard exterior in the face of enemies but a softer one with her people, with a logic dominating her decision, as well as the need to keep her people safe. aednate is always polite and collected, even in situations that most would break down in, though she can be a bit more curt and toss a few veiled threats and insults in. aednate is naturally a leader and good at taking control of tough situations. she's been compared to the ivory queen for her people skills and ability to lead the people. while it seems to others that aednate enjoys her position of power, she really doesn't and wishes she could be a fighter, without any need to take leadership.

history :. born to a high-ranking military officer and the daughter of a wealthy merchant, aednate was always happy with her life, at least in the early years. though her father was always away, leading the red queen's army, aednate had her mother to help teach her how to be a loyal subject to her majesty. her mother had the sole control over her daughter's education, and aednate had some spirit of the rebellion instilled into her. her mother didn't quite approve of the red queen's leadership, but there was nothing she could do about it, so aednate adopted the views her mother held about the red queen's leadership.
for the first twelve or so years of her life, the spirit of the rebellion was instilled in aednate. it came naturally for her to fight when her mother was accused by the queen of inciting rebellion among the people and executed. aednate was furious, vowing revenge on the queen and all her court. her father was excused from his military duties to take care of his daughter and 'correct his daughter's behavior before it was too late'. so began the first few miserable years of her life.
aednate was trained to become a soldier for the queen and her family, and though she rebelled and was firmly set against her father's teachings, she couldn't help but learn the combat skills her father was teaching her. aednate excelled with fighting and she quickly managed to become an expert with any sort of weaponry. she preferred swords and daggers, since she was best with those, but she also learned to be handy with projectile weaponry, such as bows and arrows.
shortly after her fourteenth birthday, after a particularly rough training session, aednate stumbled across a few diaries her mother had left. they talked about the resistance, the rebellion, and revealed her mother's role as a spy for the resistance, gathering military information. aednate realized that she was meant to take a role in the resistance and follow in her mother's footsteps. her detrimental relationship with her father and her views of the substandard government of the red city drove her away from her home. sometime close to her fifteenth birthday, aednate ran away from home, using her mother's diaries to guide her towards the rebels.
once at the resistance, aednate quickly rose through the ranks to become a respected leader, the youngest of them all, and she managed to finally find a place where she felt truly accepted for her beliefs and personality. aednate took her mother's maiden name of eldritch so she could put the past behind her and distance herself from her father.

Bunny grew up a Rijks, but she always knew she wasn't related to Nelson and Tessa. They loved her as their own though. When Bunny was sixteen, she was given the gift. Bunny read the letters first. They were from her mother to a man known simply as C. Bunny was so intrigued that she vowed to find out who C. was. Then Bunny opened the rest of the gift. It was a tiara. Bunny didn't understand at the time why her mother had such an expensive piece of jewelry. Bunny hid the tiara away, scared that someone would steal it. Bunny looked at the tiara each night, trying to remember anything about it. When Bunny turned twenty, she bid farewell to Nelson and Tessa and made her way into the world. Wht she never told them was that she was going to find C. As fate would have it, Bunny ended up at the castle. It was there that she discovered who she really was. Torn between telling the royal family about her identity and possibly losing her neck, Bunny decided to stay silent. She took a job in the kitchens so that each day she could look upon the family she might've had.

And so his whole life Sephiran was severely bullied and abused by his foster father and half-siblings. He had no other friends in the village as his half-siblings always made sure of it, people knew how he'd been born and saw him as different. Eventually one day there was such a bad incident that Sephiran's half-siblings drove him away out of his village. Sephiran was only 13 at the time. For the next 4 years Sephiran lived alone in an abandoned house deep in the forest, where he learned he actually possessed a rare kind of dark magic. Over the years, he practised and mastered it, while plotting vengeance against his family and the entire village, for everything they'd done to him. Until he was found by the red queen's forces, and it was discovered he had magic, they brought him to the queen. However no matter what Sephiran quietly refused to work for the queen. Now they keep him in the prison while they figure out a way to bargain with him, and try to see how his mysterious dark magic works. Because of his magic, they see him as too valuable to simply kill.
