Lol, yeah, that's true. I'll probably remember it when y'all start talking about it. Although, it would be good to have a refresher, anyway, since I never got around to reading the sequels.
I'm terrible at that, always starting trilogies/series and never finishing them xD

Lol, yeah, I've heard of England's notoriously cold and rainy weather. I'll certainly take the rainy part ;]
I'll even take the cold part, lol. I live in Louisiana where it's usually very hot and very humid. At the moment, it's 74 degrees. Spring has sprung down south.
Really, though, the weather could never make up its mind this year, and there were trees blooming off and on all throughout "winter." I think they were really confused.
Ordered and expected delivery by tomorrow I can't wait!! I have such high hopes!!
Friends getting me the whole series as a present, so excited!

Okay guys I just finished Monsters of Men by Patrick Ness and I cannot even begin to express the emotional trauma I have just been to.All I can say is, and I do not say this lightly, honestly the best book I have EVER read, EVER!

Lynell, it's an amazing trilogy! The books are just so magical, do you think the second is as good as the first?

Holly the second one was just as good as the first one and I just bought and started the third last night,, but the only thing that irritated me was the way Mal treated Alina.. I don't wanna spoil anything if you haven't read it yet but sometimes I had almost wished she would've went with the Darkling

Oh wow! I seriously cannot wait to read it then...I'm planning to start the second book on Sunday and I will be jumping up and down with excitment until then! Hmm, I hope the second book doesn't put me off of Mal as I really liked him in the first book, but the Darkling is sorta...alluring shall I say? ;)

I don't wanna spoil ..."I've read the whole trilogy and I totally understand what you mean with how Mal behaved in Siege and Storm!! I've read the series twice and quite frankly I still don't know what to make of his behavior in the sequel. But Siege and Storm is still my favorite of the whole trilogy!! I hope you enjoy Ruin and Rising! It definitely has a different tone to it than the previous books in my opinion, but it's a really good conclusion to such a fantastic series :)

I don..."You will not be disappointed with the second book Holly, Siege and Storm is by far my favorite of the whole trilogy! And although Mal definitely shows some change, I still really enjoyed reading about his character. My favorite character is also introduced, and I think you will find him charming to say the least!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. And as for Mal vs the Darkling, I am a complete Team Darkling member over here!! He may be evil but I don't know how Alina resists his, as you said, allure. ;)
