Tuvia Pollack (tuviapollack) | 19 comments Has anyone read this, and would you recommend it? It's a series of 47 books so I feel somewhat hesistant to jump into it... seems like a mix of HF and fantasy, following a lineage with each book set in a different time period from the 16th century and onwards.

I've never heard of that one, but I feel your pain about being daunted by super long series books. I guess my only advice would be to try it out and if you hate it, don't continue. I used to be a completionist... but life is too short for feeling that you HAVE to see something you hate through - especially if it's something you're doing for enjoyment.

On the other hand, if you love it, then you have a lot more of it to look forward to! :)

Amalie | 5 comments It's one of my absolute favorite series, it does seem long but the individual books pretty short, it does follow a family for about 500 years, in a mix of historical fiction and fantasy.
