Akema Crevecoeur | 7 comments A Matter of Trust is about a girl named Darcy, that has a problem with people making fun of Hakeem. Hakeem is Darcy's boyfriend. He has a stuttering problem when he gets in front of a group of people; except when he is singing. So when class was over one day Darcy found a way for Hakeem to make people put making fun of him. She saw a sign on the wall for auditions for a talent show. So she went to tell Hakeem and they made a agreement that they both would try out for the audition. So when Darcy got home she went to check on her elderly grandmother and she remembered her. This book is really interesting. I encourage others to read as well.
