Jace's character is just worsening with each book.
I have never been a fan of Clary, but this was just another level of being stubborn! She's way too impulsive and I don't think she is even considering how much trouble her actions can mean for others!
I like Sebastian, though after his conversation with Clary, I am starting to feel a bit suspicious about him. And Clary gave him (a stranger) an awful lot of detail.
Simon is such an innocent soul, it hurts how he keeps getting into trouble :( (hide spoiler)]

I don't think Aaron has read them either. But I know you recently finished that trilogy. So idk how I want to read it.

I would say if you are both up for it to try read the Infernal Devices first (I’m happy to comment with you as I do love the series!).

I don’t think there’s too many spoilers. I think the biggest spoiler is that it mentions some of the Infernal Devices characters’ relationships (so you’ll know who ends up with who at the end of the infernal devices).
Other than that you’re probably okay to just keep reading.

I started appreciating Clary more and more as we progressed. Though she was rather impulsive and stubborn in the beginning of the book, i think she came across as a brave person by the end.
I loved the plot. It had been a while since I read a book in which I was so thoroughly invested. But I had a really good time with this one.
And I love it when books end with a happy and positive epilogue, where everything is resolved, even just for a short period! (hide spoiler)]

I love when it’s all rounded off and you get an epilogue. It’s usually a satisfying end to the story, whether it’s a happy or not so happy ending. (hide spoiler)]
