I know. I know. I know.

Normally our Read-A-Thons are only a weekend. I know that not everyone one has children and those that do that they probably have Spring Break starting a different week.

This is the week that my oldest son is out of school for Spring Break and I just thought that this might be a great time to do a week long Read-A-Thon. This will have a few challenges that I will post probably at the beginning of the month.

I am hoping to get even farther ahead in my reading for when I am gone for just over a week at the end of May. So be on the lookout for challenges in the next few weeks!

Challenges!

1. Complete a Trilogy/Series (Or at least as far as you can go if not all books are published yet)
2. Read a book with green on the cover in observance of St. Patrick's Day.
3. Read a book with a colorful cover in observance of Easter.
4. Read a stand alone.
5. Read a contemporary.
6. Read a book someone else picked for you.
7. Read a book you would normally not read. (Read outside of your genre/comfort zone)
8. Read a book you have not finished. It's time to pick up one of those books that you have not finished or several books you have not finished. You know that book sitting beside your bed staring at you guiltily.
9. Read a book that you think has an unusual title/theme.
10. Read at least three books.

You do not have to complete all of these challenges! Pick the ones you want to complete it's up to you.

Work has been kicking my butt honestly. Yesterday we were on an all day trip so I can try to relax. And then I am not reading very many of the books picked for the month except Cinder and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I've been playing catch up which has kept me away a bit. Lol. But I am coming back!!!! Before the void takes me. Lol.

It seems like so many of us are in a reading slump. I have just been so busy these past few weeks. I've been lucky to get any reading done.

I hope these help and I wanted to give several challenges for this in the hopes that everyone can find a challenge that they want to complete to get out of their reading slumps.
