Can I add a book without ISBN?

Hi!

I have an edition of "El mundo como yo lo veo" that hasn't ISBN because it came with a newspaper. Can I add a book without ISBN to the database? It only has serial of its "Depósito legal". I don't see any edition similar to this one for the number of pages and contents.

Yes, you can! And you can add a note saying that it hasn't an ISBN code in the description.

Please help me!
I have done everything I know to get the cover of my new book The Old Indian on my list of books.
I have added the cover three times and it's still showing the generic cover.
I have tried to post on every librarian groups, but each one says comments have been frozen.
I don't know what to do now.
All I want to do is get the good cover for The Old Indian I have posted on my list of books.
What do I do?

John, to add a cover to an edition, you should click on "edit details" present under the book details section and upload cover on the top right. I see 4 editions listed here now and I'm gonna remove 3 editions not having ASIN details as only one edition of your book was printed. Is that alright? :)

Thanks for the confirmation, John. Removed the duplicate editions

It gets confusing when a thread linked to a specific book or author is also used for other books. I am closing this thread. Start new ones for other books.
