Oh no worries, Elinaly! How are you enjoying the Hitchhiker's Guide?
Couple more chapters and I am done. Can't believe what a book... I haven't read such a book before... but yeah, funny in its absurdity.
Hehe, it is pretty 'special', yes. Definitely absurd, but I was howling with laughter at times. Others not so much but still a good book.
Woot!Put them in reserve for now, Danielle.
We still have 2 Wild Draw 4 cards to fill but I'm thinking that maybe Silje wants to get another book in as well and then we'll see about the rest.
Jenny!Since you didn't use a book for a memory yet - would you like to use one of your books read after March 14th? Elinaly offered to have someone else fill in the memory for Team Doctor Who, so if one of your books would work for that one, would you want to snag that one?

No problem! Where do I find the memory?
You'll find all the memories for Doctor Who (plus the other teams) in the March mini challenge thread, here. You can be as creative as you want with how you fit your book to the memory. There are examples in the post, and you can always check out the memories the team has already done - links to all the posts are on the spreadsheet.
If it's the Nancy Drew memory it might be hard since I've only read romantic suspense and PRN romance.
Has one of your romantic suspense book have main genre of mystery or thriller? If so, would work for 3rd dr. Who memory.
Ok
has a mystery element, a baby and an auntie trying to be a mother figure. Will that work for the Nancy Drew one?
Hi Team Peanuts. I'm just visiting from Team Happy Feet as I've managed to connect a book to one of your memoriesMy mom is fond of romance novels and at age 14-15 I was so curious about the books she read, but wouldn't let me read. So finally one day I got my hands on one of those books and started reading in secret...I've been in love with romance books ever since! (needless to say my mom was a bit frustrated when she caught me reading her books, but she realized it was hopeless to keep me away:P)
I read
which is a romance book and the couple get caught in an awkward situation. Thanks for the memories :)
Completion Post
Read the translation of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams
Read date: 3/22/2016
Rating: 3 solid stars
How it fits: have reserved hand eight reverse card
Don't misunderstand me! I liked the book and I got the jokes, I even bursted into a loud laugh many times. And I bet when I read it again any time soon I will rate it higher (seems to be a book "the more you read it the more you like it").
I will also read other books in series.
But, god... how absurd it was, lol. Though the humour is clever, witty and sarcastic - what I really enjoyed!
quote:
"/.../I really wish I'd listened to what my mother told me when I was young."
"Why, what did she tell you?"
"I don't know, I didn't listen.”
And here is the memory link -> MuppetsI will start to read Shards of Honour now, but still be free to use the chance to post the last memory-connection to the Doctor Who's wall :)
✼Danielle✼ wrote: "Has one of your romantic suspense book have main genre of mystery or thriller? If so, would work for 3rd dr. Who memory."No. It's really urban fantasy more than mystery. :(
Hmm, and any other books you've read? Maybe you can connect one of them?It could also simply be a matter of you getting that particular book from the library and someone mentions in a memory that they went to the library. Or similar character/author names.
But don't worry if you don't find anything :-)
It was just a suggestion after all to even things out a little so that everyone gets a piece of the cake, so to speak hehe.
Elinaly, I basically agree with that review. I had the same feeling when reading the book. Loved the wit, the sarcasm and laughed out loud quite a few times but I found it to be very odd in other times and there were a few moments where I didn't enjoy it all that much. But all in all, a good book!

Thanks for thinking of me!=) I just finished Trace of Magic
, will add it to one of the Wild Draw 4=)
I should also mention that I am on easter vacation, which is the reason I haven't been around much the last couple of days. We do have internet up here in the mountains, but I will likely not be as active as usual..=)
Way to go, ladies!Oh, enjoy the vacation, Silje!
I might have a horrible day at work tomorrow since there will be only 2 of us, doing the work of 5... (one on holiday, one doesn't work Fridays and the third is on sick leave since today) sooooo... yeah... ;-) We'll see. Might not be as horrible as I'm now thinking hehe.
Besides, there is the weekend to think of to keep me going ;-) It's a long one! Monday is a bank holiday here as it is Easter Monday.
All that just to say: I'm done with another book haha.
. Will be switching a couple of my books around. Going to remove Ink and Bone from it's 5 spot and replace it with The Invisible Library, which is currently sitting in a Wild spot. And then I'll put the one I just finished into the Wild spot.
10 hands are done!! Awesome! What's left to do:
Danielle needs to finish Out of Frame.
I need to finish Divide & Conquer.
Elinaly needs to finish Shards of Honour for the last memory.
We need to fill one last Wild Draw 4 card, for which I'm thinking using one of Danielle's books since she's already finished a few extra.
Thoughts, comments? :-)
All I can say is - we are doing pretty fantastic!!!Great teamwork and amazing team leading!
I will finish my book this weekend.

It's a mobi file converted to epub. The page number was p.156 if that helps.
Woot! Are any of the words from the new mini challenge in the book?
FYI, for everyone unsure on how to search for words:
- for digital copies, there should be a search feature in most of the newest forms of ereaders.
- amazon's "look inside" feature (select a print edition of the book) usually works
- books.google.com is another way you can search for words in books
