The Perks Of Being A Book Addict discussion
ARCHIVE Team Challenge: UNO 2016
>
Team Peanuts
I'm rereading some Kristen Ashley books for the first time in years and I have to say some of it I just can't stand anymore and my ratings go down a star or two. Do you guys change ratings when you reread something?
I'm not much of a rereader lately, but those that I've reread, I haven't touched the rating. Though there was a recent reread that I probably reread too quickly after I originally read the book so I was a bit bored while reading it because I still remembered everything. But that would've been unfair to the book, so I left the rating as was.

I really liked that book!=)
I did too! I put my rating down from 5 stars to four because when it comes to romance books I find I need fair amount of groveling from the hero to forgive some things :D This time around there just wasn't enough lol
I need this for another challenge so it about to start
. It's a long one, so it will be a few days, especially with reading others inbetween. 3 - 3rd in series
5 - I title I'm Watching You
Skip - K author Karen Rose
Completed
2 - #2 in series
3 - character: Holly / Jack Hamilton
6 - character: Grace Sheridan
9 - character: Nick
I just realised
is out today! Anybody reading the series by Anne Bishop? I absolutely loved book 1 and 2.

Yep, love this series. This one is next up for me.
Nope, not read the Bishop series yet, but I've been meaning to read the first one for ages now. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to manage this month, but maybe next month. At least then I already know it can be used as a reverse ;-)
Hahaha! Crap, Fire Touched is being sold out reeeeeally quickly! When I checked Amazon this afternoon, there were 13 books still available, now it's 1!!But it isn't my edition anyway, so I need to wait a bit longer >.> That one is double the price and is only sent in 3-5 weeks... I call bull... Ah well, I can handle the wait. Probably... ;-)
You definitely need to try The Others series. It's really a fantastic series!Shame on your wait for Fire Touched. I read all e-books with some audios.
I can't help it, I love holding a paperback in my hand :-)I regularly eat e-books as well though and I'm considering starting the next Harry Dresden book on audio. I love listening to James Marsters. His voice is perfect for Harry.
Omg James Marsters does Harry Dresden!!! Why did I not know about this?! This is amazing news!! I'm for ever in your debt Eldarwen xxxxxx

And you're absolutely welcome!! :-)
I read the first two Harry Dresden book about 3/4 years ago. Not too long ago I picked up the first book in audio as I heard the narration of Masters is vey good. Just need to get around to listening.
Our hands are filling up nicely, by the way!2 hands already completely read, and others almost done, with books scattered all over the place already - and we're only a week into the challenge.
Keep up the reading, ladies!! :-)
And don't forget to Share a Book Memory. It may be in relation to a mini challenge, so better not take chances in not popping into the thread ;-)
I put down my average monthly reads as 2 but I feel energised by the UNO challenge so I am hoping to at least double that number!
I was meant to say last night in reply to you comment that I had read her books about 4 years ago. I however did like very much again, it's been so long so didn't remember exact detail of who the killer was etc. I find the suspense of her books really well done.

Good job all so far!

a couple of books that I will be reading at some point of the next week.
Reverse - read by Jenny
Skip - K author
2 - T title Tequila Mockingbird
3 - 3 in series
4 - F author Rhys Ford
6 - S character - Ethan Sullivan
8 - E character - Ethan Sullivan
9 - N author Chloe Neill
Awesome! That will now leave us with 2 more reverse cards that need to be filled. Out of the 8 we started out with.
Danielle has read the Martian. I can read that next if that helps to fill the reverse card :) I will finish my current book within the next week.
If you want to read it, sure, go for it! :-) I've heard lots of good things about it, so hopefully you'll enjoy it!
I will be going away for the weekend so I won't be around too much. Hopefully I will be finished with another book when I get back=)
Weekend away sounds good! :-)Enjoy!!
I cannot wait for Friday evening.... next week I'm off work! :-D It usually means less reading time for me as I'll be out of the house quite a lot of the time, but gosh.. no work!! Bliss ;-)
I am planning some time off work too but it won't be until April! Hopefully I'll get plenty of reading done :)
