Oh! We have a Series Tracker, and I know for a fact that a lot of our members could do this challenge!

message 3: by Sophie (new)

Sophie | 139 comments I may participate in this read-a-thon. I'll see how I feel closer to the time.

I definitely need to participate in this Read-A-Thon.. I have so many finales to read that it isn't even funny.

message 5: by Sophie (new)

Sophie | 139 comments I'm thinking, if I do participate, I'll either finish the Gemma Doyle trilogy by reading A Sweet Far Thing or the Anna companion trilogy by reading Lola and the Boy Next Door and Isla and the Happily Ever After. Or both! We will see!

Emily Shaw (emilyshaw16) | 313 comments I'm definitely excited for everyone to take part in this! I'm not sure what I'll be reading yet.

This will obviously change, and I won't be able to read all of these in a week, but just listing my options so far :)
Library of Souls (Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children, #3) by Ransom Riggs Winter (The Lunar Chronicles, #4) by Marissa Meyer The Assassin's Blade (Throne of Glass, #0.1-0.5) by Sarah J. Maas Heir of Fire (Throne of Glass, #3) by Sarah J. Maas Queen of Shadows (Throne of Glass, #4) by Sarah J. Maas The Winner's Crime (The Winner's Trilogy, #2) by Marie Rutkoski Invaded (Alienated, #2) by Melissa Landers

I'm in for this Read-A-Thon and I am going to read:
Matched (Matched, #1) by Ally Condie , Crossed (Matched, #2) by Ally Condie , Reached (Matched, #3) by Ally Condie
Keeping it simple and just focusing on finishing this trilogy.

Emily Shaw (emilyshaw16) | 313 comments less than a month until this read-a-thon! Hope everyone is excited!

Emily Shaw (emilyshaw16) | 313 comments UPDATE! It's March, and this read-a-thon starts in less than 2 weeks!

Please post your TBR down below :D

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

TBR:

Matched (Matched, #1) by Ally Condie , Crossed (Matched, #2) by Ally Condie , Reached (Matched, #3) by Ally Condie

City of Lost Souls (The Mortal Instruments, #5) by Cassandra Clare , City of Heavenly Fire (The Mortal Instruments, #6) by Cassandra Clare

The Last Olympian (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #5) by Rick Riordan

The Scorch Trials (Maze Runner, #2) by James Dashner , The Death Cure (Maze Runner, #3) by James Dashner , The Kill Order (Maze Runner, #0.5) by James Dashner

I know I said earlier that I want to keep it simple, but some of theses series I am so close to finishing that I just want to push myself a little bit to read more books in a given week or read-a-thon.

Emily Shaw (emilyshaw16) | 313 comments Great TBRs so far! Good luck to everyone!

message 15: by Emily (last edited Mar 07, 2016 01:37PM) (new)

Emily Shaw (emilyshaw16) | 313 comments My TBR is constantly changing, since I really don't know what I want to read, and what to read first. So this is definitely tentative and over ambitious, but these are the books I want to read during the read-a-thon.

Invaded (Alienated, #2) by Melissa Landers The Winner's Crime (The Winner's Trilogy, #2) by Marie Rutkoski Glass Sword (Red Queen, #2) by Victoria Aveyard Unravel Me (Shatter Me, #2) by Tahereh Mafi Zodiac (Zodiac, #1) by Romina Russell Burn for Burn (Burn for Burn, #1) by Jenny Han

(also using this as an excuse to start new series oops)

message 16: by Sophie (new)

Sophie | 139 comments My TBR: The Sweet Far Thing (Gemma Doyle, #3) by Libba Bray Lola and the Boy Next Door (Anna and the French Kiss, #2) by Stephanie Perkins Isla and the Happily Ever After (Anna and the French Kiss, #3) by Stephanie Perkins

If I only finish The Sweet Far Thing I'll be happy (it's 800+ pages guys!) but I'm being a bit ambitious, after all this is a read-a-thon!

SLAAAY! And good luck!

message 17: by Curious (new)

Curious Kimberly | 1 comments I just finished my TBR video for the Slay That Series read-a-thon!

message 24: by Emily (new)

Emily Shaw (emilyshaw16) | 313 comments I'm 220 pages into Burn for Burn (Burn for Burn, #1) by Jenny Han and plan on finishing it tomorrow. Then on to Invaded (Alienated, #2) by Melissa Landers

message 25: by Skydreamer (new)

Skydreamer Lee | 6 comments Planning on continuing the Gone series by Micheal Grant and I just finished Lies but I'm on holiday and the books are in my school library......

message 26: by Sophie (new)

Sophie | 139 comments I finished The Sweet Far Thing (Gemma Doyle, #3) by Libba Bray this morning. 819 pages in 5 days, I'm super happy with that as I had one day where I was busy and didn't read much at all and then one day where I had a headache for most of the day.

I really loved the book itself. Such a fantastic end to the trilogy, one of the best final battle scenes I've ever read. It was so atmospheric and Libba Bray's writing is magic.

message 27: by Emily (new)

Emily Shaw (emilyshaw16) | 313 comments Day 5 already! How is everyone doing?

message 28: by Emily (new)

Emily Shaw (emilyshaw16) | 313 comments I've finished Burn for Burn (Burn for Burn, #1) by Jenny Han (and wishing I had the rest of the series with me)

And I'm 135 pages into Invaded (Alienated, #2) by Melissa Landers which is pretty meh for me so far

message 29: by Sophie (new)

Sophie | 139 comments I did a big push last night and managed to finish Lola and the Boy Next Door. It was good but I'm not the biggest contemporary fan.

Then I started Isla and the Happily Ever After this morning and I'm already 236 pages into it. This read-a-thon could not be going any better!

If I finish Isla with time to spare, the next book I want to read (read-a-thon or not) is Calamity by Brandon Sanderson which is the last book in a trilogy so it would fit this read-a-thon as well.

I failed miserably, but I subbed for sixth grade all week, and they took all my attention. :/

This Read-A-Thon didn't go that well for me. Oh, well there's always next time right?
