Plot Point: Veronica speaks ti the Dewalt family and meets the private security consultant they hired, Miles Oxman. Mr. Oxman is not interested in finding out who took Hayley, just in finding Hayley.

This does not sit well with Veronica's strong sense of justice.

This bothered me too. But I figured that his job is to make the ransom go smooth. Not to get justice for the person(s) responsible.

This also seemed shady to me. The ransom calls indicate a connection between the two girls' disappearance yet they use different people?

Lei | 1 comments Everything was so shady here.

YeaH. I agree.... It at least seemed elitist. Like the other specialist wasn't good enough...

message 20: by Margarita (new)

Margarita Vandorou | 56 comments That was a great coincidence

message 21: by Christy (new)

Christy | 98 comments Very suspicious. Expensive lawyers for a guy with no address?

And how many of these ransom experts are there out there anyway? How big is this market that there are so many choices???

message 25: by Hannah (new)

Hannah | 75 comments Crane punching the reporter reminded me of something Logan would've done when he was still an obligatory psychotic jackass haha

I was actually relieved for William Murphy, he seems like a nice enough guy, I didn't want him in prison for something he didn't do!

Christy | 98 comments I love Cliff. I guess Neptune is short on public defenders. It always seems to be him.

message 28: by Heather (new)

Heather Sims | 4 comments I agree that the whole expert thing seemed shady & off. Why would you want extra people to possibly screw things up?

She did an amazing job! I felt like I could hear his real voice, and was it just me or was anyone else smelling lasagna?

Except..... Maybe even something current Logan would do!. I mean Crane was defending his sister. I actually liked him so much more in that moment...

message 32: by Margarita (new)

Margarita Vandorou | 56 comments Yeap current Logan would do that if the reporter was saying something about Veronica for example :p

message 33: by Hannah (new)

Hannah | 75 comments True; Logan would've done the same thing if it were Veronica

This seemed way more suspicious than requesting a ransom specialist in the first place
