Exoticism in Baudrillard's 'America'

Hi all,

I've been given a quite (in my mind) tricky, abstract essay title which asks to discuss the extent to which (if at all) Baudrillard's 'America' could be described as "exotic". The exact title is: 'Pourrait-on dire du livre Amérique de Baudrillard qu'il est exotique?'

I'd be hugely grateful for any thoughts/opinions/views on this, as it'd be a fantastic help to being able to tackle a tricky essay title on a fantastic travel novel.

Well, that's very much open to interpretation. I was thinking to use the influence of external (abroad) nationalities. What do you think?
