Krysta (krystafig) | 4089 comments Whatchu Know About May?
Duration: May 1st - May 31st, 2014

Let’s read about May! Most people know that Cinco de Drinko Mayo is in May and that Mothers’ day falls in May, but what else do you know about the month?

Challenge Rules
→ When you sign up for the challenge, please post some kind of a place saver so that I can link you up under the participants.

→ For each book you read, please indicate the title and the date you finished reading it. Also, when the task gives more than one option to choose from, please make it clear which option you’ve chosen. If the task requires a specific cover, include the book cover.

→ You may only use each book for one task in this challenge, but feel free to use the same titles in other challenges!

→ When you complete the challenge, please post your entire, completed list as a new message to make it easier for everyone to see what you've read, and to have your name marked as "completed".

→ If you decide that you've bitten off more than you can chew, feel free to let me know you'd like to downgrade, or even back out of the challenge. However, please do not delete post. It will mess up the links to other participants' postings if you do.

Natasa (natasa79) | 15 comments Thank you Krysta, it will be much fun, I've never done anything like this :)

I loved Feed as well! It was such a unique zombie story, even though zombies were kind of the setting that's all, the end made me cry so much lol and I love how she developed every last detail!

So if you're reading the 3rd book, how did you like Deadline?

message 34: by Krysta (new)

Krysta (krystafig) | 4089 comments I liked it quite a bit.
I gave it 4 of 5 stars.

Shaun's personality is gloomier, which is understandable. While I think his change was believeable, I still found myself wishing for the Shaun from Feed again. Not that is was bad by any means!

Lady Alexandrine | 44 comments Hi :) I read The Witches of Eastwick. Huge disappointment! I have seen a movie years ago and I was expecting sth light and funny. It was in some parts, but also full of horrible things like killing people and small harmless animals with magic. Ugh! I also got the impression that the author thought a women without a guy is an miserable, desperate witch... just horrible.

Books to read in May: 1/4

1. A book has a 1, 3, 5, or 7 in the total number of pages.

Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices, #3) by Cassandra Clare

2. A book with the main character or Author named John

The Witches of Eastwick by John Updike

3. A book in which the author’s first or last initial can be found in “SMILE”.

Night Owl (The Night Owl Trilogy) by M. Pierce

4. Emerald - green cover

Delirium (Delirium, #1) by Lauren Oliver

There's a much neater way to list your books...
If you click on "add book/author" on the top right-hand side of your comment box, it will open up a new small window where you can type the title of your book and select the one you want to add.
It looks like this: Storm
Instead of the link.
