Charbel (queez) | 2667 comments I thought this would be fun.
As a group we create our own wacky story. The way it works is by starting with an introductory sentence, and then each "author" adds one sentence in which they lead the story in whatever direction they please,as long as they base it on the previous post. The story then becomes random and wacky.
In case of several people posting simultaneously, the latest sentence would be considered.
Let's start with:

There once was a girl called Sally who read a lot of books.

Amber (amberterminatorofgoodreads) She read Different ones from Pirate Adventures and Fairy Tales to stories about Saving a Princess from a fire-breathing dragon.

Elsbeth (elsbethgm) She felt wonderfully excited, and even though she had no werewolf blood, she wanted to howl at the moon!

Amber (amberterminatorofgoodreads) Its windows were cracked and spider webs covered every inch of the abandoned, decrepit building.

Sally couldn't help herself, her desire for adventure overtook her, and she entered the building.

Book Ninja | 213 comments And now she haunted the house and won't let anyone live there. Anyone who entered the house never came back alive. Sally knew that but she was very curious and she went inside.

Elsbeth (elsbethgm) Shivering all over, she slowly turned the key and the door opened with a shriek.

Elsbeth (elsbethgm) The young man grapped the parrot by the throat, to try and force the key out.

Elsbeth (elsbethgm) This startled the young man and he let go of the parrot, who gave an angry shriek and flew away.

Diane S ☔ They entered a place that was filled with fog, and curious voices echoed all around them.

Elsbeth (elsbethgm) 'John? Where are you?' she cried, realizing for the first time that he was known to her as the friendly mailman.

Elsbeth (elsbethgm) 'Yeah, well, sorry about that' said the elephant. 'When a guy has an itch, a guy has to scratch!', he giggled.
