Sonic Alpha (sonicalpha) | 4 comments I'm currently working through adding a series of books by Steve Jackson called Fighting Fantasy.

I'm currently on book 3, which is called Deathtrap Dungeon. However, it clashes with the currently listed book 3 of the series on Goodreads called Forest of Doom.

Deathtrap Dungeon IS listed as part of the series, as number 6.

It seems I have a reprint of the series (well, the first 10 books), and the number of the entries have been assigned to different books this time around (Forest of Doom is now 14, according to the Fighting Fantasy website).

How do I address this when cataloging these newer books? Should I ignore it, and just add the newer reprints as I would a new edition of any book? Or do I add a completely different entry?

Apologies if this has been asked countless times before.

Arenda | 26455 comments There are at least three series:

According to the numbering you gave, the last one is probably your series.
You should add the newer reprint as an edition to the other editions, as the same books should be combined.
