Pam Baddeley | 3343 comments Don't know if anyone has come across this Rate Book Covers site, which is in Beta apparently. Someone on another GR forum posted about it as he put his cover on it. People can go on there and vote for covers without having to create an account. Not sure whether it would be good for raising profile, but you can pay for a 'buy at Amazon' button to associate with the cover, and the cost of that seems to be on a discount at present.

Some are fabulous. Many are dire.

Think I'd quickly get fed up looking at that site.

Pete Carter (petecarter) | 522 comments It seems to me that there are only one or two cover designers showcasing their work on this site. Doubt if it would lead to sales.

Pam Baddeley | 3343 comments Yes there does seem to be a certain similarity in quite a few of them. Not sure what readers would get out of it either.

Darren Humphries (darrenhf) | 6903 comments The front page has covers that have hit the heady heights of 6 votes. Not exactly going to raise your exposure too much.

Andrew Lawston (andrewlawston) | 1774 comments My cover designer has worked with Malorie Blackman, Terry Pratchett, Anthony Horowitz and many more. They were impressed with her work, and so am I. I know I have awesome covers, I hardly need to put it to the public vote and pay for the chance to stick someone else's Amazon affiliate link on my work.
