I've only read about 30 pages, so far. I keep getting distracted. The weekends are always a little hectic for me. :)

I've made it to "Red Dress" on page 51. :)

(view spoiler)[ So, I'm thinking that there might have been a small time jump since the first book, because with everything that is going on in the diviners lives that would make sense. But I don't remember reading in the book how long it has been since John Hobbes was caught. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I wonder if Ling is the same type of Dream Walker as Henry? It seems like they do different things in dreams, but I wonder if maybe eventually Ling and Henry will be able to do what the other can do. I think that this sleep curse is being caused by a ghost or something else? I can't wait until we get to go back to the Creepy Crawley Museum. (hide spoiler)]

He seems to be in dreams, like .. oh what is his name again?? that boy with the little brother that Theta is with, he saw that guy in the hat when he was healing.. I wonder what that means though. Jericho and Evie (view spoiler)[ At the end of the last book they kissed, and I think that may have been the last time she saw him and Uncle Will. There hasn't been anything else mentioned that would make Evie want to avoid Jericho. (hide spoiler)]

I didn't get a chance to read anymore of the book today, but tomorrow I don't have anything to do so I'm going to try and read a few chapters. :)

(view spoiler)[ I wonder what Uncle Will is doing with Mrs. Walker? I don't think it has to do with the sleeping curse, but instead I think it has something to do with the diviners. I was thinking the same thing about Henry and Ling. Since they can walk in dreams, does that mean that they will be the only ones who will be able to stop whoever is doing the sleeping curse? I'm wondering if it's another dream walker who is doing it. (hide spoiler)]

Made it to A Stupid Mistake

I'm thinking that maybe the men in the suits are from the government and that they want the diviners to join them. I would love to see all the diviners together. I was busy with my family yesterday, so I didn't get a chance to read anymore of this book. But I'm not doing anything today, so I'm going to get a lot of reading done. :)

(view spoiler)[I´m happy that Henry found Louis but it feels weird somehow or I might be wrong, I hope. Do you think Evie will fall for Sam now? That was what I thought in book one but I like the idea of Evie and Jericho now..
Do you think Wai-Mae will be able to help Ling and maybe Henry later on with her knowledge? (hide spoiler)]

It seems like in the last couple months she hasn't spent that much time with Mabel, and she hasn't been back to the museum at all. I wonder how Jericho is going to take the news of the engagement. (view spoiler)[ So I'm wondering if that woman that Wai-mae is afraid of, is somehow linked to the sleeping sickness. And maybe where they are in the dream world is the same place where the sickness is happening. I would love to know more about the place where Ling is meeting Wai-mae. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I don't like Bill staying with Memphis' aunt. I feel like he is about to do something bad. I wonder when Theta is going to tell Memphis about her power. Hopefully she does tell him, and doesn't leave him because she is afraid of how he will react. (hide spoiler)]

I really like it but I would love to know more. Not a lot has happened yet. I´m happy that we get to learn more about the characters that we didn´t get to know in the first book, like Henry and Ling.

What do you think about it so far?

I am liking it so far, especially since we get to know more about the characters. But you are right about the fact that not a lot has happened. We're almost to the hallway point in the book, and I was kind of expecting to know a little bit more about what is going on with the sleeping sickness.

(view spoiler)[ It is sad that George died. I was hoping that they would find a way to save him, but hopefully they'll find something out about this sleeping sickness before it kills someone else. This is just a theory, but do you think that the sleeping sickness could be linked to Wai-Mae making things in the dream world? (hide spoiler)]

Because Henry is from New Orleans, Memphis and Isaiah are from Baltimore, and I'm pretty sure Theta is from Nebraska and Evie is from Zenith, Ohio. Hopefully Sam can find out what the codes mean. I finished this last night, but it was late so I didn't post. I liked this one a little bit more than the first, because I thought it had more action than the last one.

(view spoiler)[ It was so sad about Wai-Mae. I was really hoping that she wasn't the ghost. It was terrible what happened to her. I can't believe that Louis is dead. I feel bad for Henry, but it looks like he might have a romance with that guy at the music place. I really did like he end where all the diviners got together finally. I would love to know what Sister Walker and Will had to say to them all. There will probably be a third book, because of how this one ended. I'm glad that Sam's mom is alive, but I wonder who that man is that she is with. And can you believe that Roy found Theta? (hide spoiler)]
