Worlds-spanning books

There are books which deal with a magical otherworld like faerie (Stardust) or heaven/hell (Sandman Slim) and books that deal with multiple parallel universes that mirror ours (The Golden Compass), but, outside of comics (Fables, Vol. 6: Homelands, The Sandman, Vol. 4: Season of Mists) I am having a hard time thinking of books that cover multiple magical worlds (not necessarily worlds that are ours just with magic and different in some way).

Any suggestions?

Michael Moorcock's Eternal Champion/multiverse books might be of interest. Gaiman wrote a short story about Moorcock's work, "one life, furnished in early moorcock".
