S - Don't read very many series, so Lord of the Rings is pretty much the only candidate.
O - Would have to check, but probably a 50's edition of a sci fi novel called City where dogs rule the Earth, haha. Got that off BookMooch to make a more cost-effective package.
U - There are two - Sirens of Titan by Kurt Vonnegut and The Past by Alan Pauls
T - Hmm, whenever and wherever Iain M. Banks's Culture exists.
H - YT from Snow Crash

Let me see
S - I think that's between The Shawshank Redemption and The Mists of Avalon
O - I own a copy of I think it is The Merchant of Venice by Shakespear of around 1880.
U - The Other Queen by Phillipa George. I'm currently reading her Elibethan novels.
T - I would either go back to the courts of Egypt around 2000 BC or go a 1000 years ahead to see how mankind is doing.
H - Death out of the Discworld series. I love his stoicism and the fact that he just doesn't understand us humans and always manages to get things just wrong.

F - Don't really have one, The Sword of Truth, The Hogfather, The Mists of Avalon, House of Leaves...
R - I'm a Trekkie
I - My cats
C - Harry Potter, I love the way his characters matures from a boy to a adult man.

I recently read Midnight's Children myself. It was my first Rushdie, so I was a bit overwhelmed by all the history and politics, but his writing was so incredible. It definitely deserves a good few rereads.

O - The Oldest book I own is a copy of To Kill a
Mocking Bird - school issue - very old!
U - Hmmm, gonna read the Sookie Stackhouse books next!
T - The Seventies of course! I love old style rock
and roll!
H - Hmmm, admire is a difficult word. Indiana Jones!!

F - All time Favourite - Master of the Game - Sydney
Sheldon.
R - I'm a couch potato, book-reading, laze around the
house person.
I - Movies, music and theatre.
C - Of course Edward - Twilight Sage, Jace - The
Immortal Series and I love Percy Jackson's
perspective on life and his attitude.
A - This one is difficult... I'm not going to commit
to one author. I love them all.
