Loud and Clear :).

Abigail (42stitches) | 150 comments Mmm cheese. As long as I can also have tortilla chips. And a microwave...Okay, I must have nachos.

message 354: by [deleted user] (new)

Well you are certainly in the right spot if you like cheese.

message 355: by Stephen (new)

Stephen (stephenT) Nachos good. Cerveza good.

message 356: by Lorna (new)

Lorna I'm new. And I like nachos. That's enough to ensure I'll get along with you all, I think :)

message 357: by Stephen (new)

Stephen (stephenT) It is enough. That and the ability to put up with all sorts of nonsense coming from almost everyone. Welcome Lorna! Since your profile is private, what kind of books do you like?

message 358: by Stephen (new)

Stephen (stephenT) And I'm glad you're up early on a Sunday morning because almost everyone in this heathen group sleeps late.

message 359: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments Welcome, Lorna!

Stephen's a little hyper in the morning. And the afternoon. And the evening. But we love him anyway:)

message 360: by Stephen (new)

Stephen (stephenT) Thanks RA, I'm glad you always give the best impression of me. Oh, and glad you could drag yourself out of bed, when you knew I was longing for a human to talk to.

I am NOT hyper. Except on alternate hours.

message 361: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments Heh. With whom would I talk at 4AM if you weren't around, Stephen? Although you're right, I slept all the way until six today...

message 362: by Stephen (new)

Stephen (stephenT) It seems also that Erika has gone with the wind, not to use a title or anything. James too seems to have gone. I suspect our use of the word Poop gets too rough for some.

Did I mention I'm pissed off today? No? Well I am. Why? Hell I don't know, I woke up that way. I'll try, TRY to be my usual charming self. Even if I'm gutted with guilt over Ishiguro.

message 363: by Lorna (new)

Lorna Hyper in the morning? I wish I was like that. I'm like satan's daughter in the morning.

Thankyou for the welcome!

My favorite authors are Anne Rice, John Marsden, Joanne Harris, Jean. M. Auel, Jane Austen, Terry Pratchett, J.K.Rowling (of course), Douglas Adams....

Yes, I'm sorry my profile is private. It's because my mother has a GR account and I don't want her to read a certain poem :)

message 364: by Stephen (new)

Stephen (stephenT) Your secret is safe with us, so long as your mother doesn't join TC. lol

Thanks for the info on the authors. And post away in here, because a lot of people are bores. Me included. heheheheehehhehe OH. Tomorrow Heidi will be back and will tell you about the ficus.

message 365: by Lorna (new)

Lorna Ha. That would be...interesting X)

Ficus...isn't that I kind of tree?

message 366: by Stephen (new)

Stephen (stephenT) Yes, and a tree of disgrace, or used here in that fashion.

message 367: by [deleted user] (new)

Welcome Lorna, nachos is a good start. I'm not sure if Stephen is hyper, I think he may just get bored easily, and when that happens watch out.

message 368: by Stephen (new)

Stephen (stephenT) True dat.

message 369: by Lorna (new)

Lorna Ha. I am warned. Now what is this tree busness?

message 370: by Lorna (new)

Lorna Haha. Oh that's funny. I'm afraid I'm not very good at being goofy, but now I'll be sure to make an effort!

message 371: by [deleted user] (new)

Geez Bun, you let the tree house secret out pretty easily. Lorna, we like nachos behind the ficus, they go well with our beer and big screen.

message 372: by Lorna (new)

Lorna I weedled :)

message 373: by Knarik (new)

Knarik Hi Lorna! There are so many good and kind and wise people in this group. You will not get bored, that is for sure!

message 374: by [deleted user] (new)

BunWat wrote: "Sorry Jim I didn't realize it was a secret. "

I'm pretty sure she would have found out sooner than later, especially when Sally comes back. I don't think the ficus has been scooted for awhile, I may need to dust back there.

Abigail (42stitches) | 150 comments Boy have I missed a lot this week. Can I have wine behind the ficus. Or maybe tequila? *needs more nachos...cheesy pasta shells just isn't cutting it...

message 376: by [deleted user] (new)

We have been known to have Margaritas every now and then, and wine is fine too.

message 377: by Jaimie (new)

Jaimie (jaimie476) | 664 comments Hello! I've been lurking for a while but you all seem kind of weird and quirky and I'm weird and quirky so I thought I'd join in the fun. Can I play?

message 378: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments Welcome, Jamie! Of course, welcome to TC...

message 379: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Play at your own risk. (he said kiddingly)

message 380: by Jaimie (new)

Jaimie (jaimie476) | 664 comments Woohoo! Thanks! :-)

message 381: by [deleted user] (new)

Welcome to TC Jaimie, may you find all the quirkiness you are looking for here. And hopefully some other stuff too.

Abigail (42stitches) | 150 comments Yay! Another lurker turned.
XD

message 383: by Knarik (new)

Knarik Hi

message 384: by Jaimie (new)

Jaimie (jaimie476) | 664 comments Talk about quirkiness...any group of people that can make an entire discussion about pants is pretty cool in my book. :-)

Abigail (42stitches) | 150 comments Waii! Pantsu!

message 388: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments RA, Sally, Heidi - here is a suggestion: why don't you delete some threads that no one has commented on for like more than 2 weeks. there is getting to be so many old and dead ones to scroll through. you can delete any thread i started and my feelings will not be hurt one skosh. just an idea...

message 389: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments considers delegating said work to Kevin

message 390: by Sally, la reina (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17373 comments Mod
Why do we need to delete them? can't you just mark them as read and then start over with the new ones? I don't like the idea of deleting them. I like to go back and revisit old times sometimes.

message 391: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments just a suggestion sals. only because i sort of feel overwhelmed by the sheer number of thread topics. i do mark them read but some just seem irrelevant. are you asking me to just pretend they are not there sally? cause i suppose i can do that but i am not going to like it

message 392: by Sally, la reina (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17373 comments Mod
Ha! There are many, I concur. But isn't deleting them just a more overt way to pretend they don't exist?

message 393: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments alright, i give. uncle

message 394: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I've already forgotten all of them. Zip.

message 395: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments You could put them into an 'archive' section the way we do at TN. Move them there if they haven't had any posts in three months or something like that.

message 396: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments GREAT idea sarah pi!

message 397: by Jaimie (new)

Jaimie (jaimie476) | 664 comments I like the idea of the 'archive' section. That gives us TC newbies a chance to go back and see what everyone is like. I did that with this thread before I posted. I couldn't stop laughing when I was reading the first few pages.

Also, if there are some on-going threads that are getting really long, you can archive those as well and create a part 2 thread. A message board I belong to outside of GR does that with our "Anything Goes" thread. It's just like the "Right now I'm..." thread here. After a time, they'll close that thread (I don't know if you can do that here) and start a new "Anything Goes" thread.

message 398: by Cosmic Sher (new)

Cosmic Sher (sherart) | 2234 comments But... if we don't delete them, there'll still be evidence. ::looks askew in a paranoid fashion::

message 399: by Knarik (new)

Knarik We can bury them! No body- no crime!

message 400: by Cosmic Sher (new)

Cosmic Sher (sherart) | 2234 comments I like how you think Knarik. Maybe we can get our hands on an industrial incinerator. mwahahahahaha!
