Well you are certainly in the right spot if you like cheese.
It is enough. That and the ability to put up with all sorts of nonsense coming from almost everyone. Welcome Lorna! Since your profile is private, what kind of books do you like?
And I'm glad you're up early on a Sunday morning because almost everyone in this heathen group sleeps late.
Welcome, Lorna!Stephen's a little hyper in the morning. And the afternoon. And the evening. But we love him anyway:)
Thanks RA, I'm glad you always give the best impression of me. Oh, and glad you could drag yourself out of bed, when you knew I was longing for a human to talk to.I am NOT hyper. Except on alternate hours.
Heh. With whom would I talk at 4AM if you weren't around, Stephen? Although you're right, I slept all the way until six today...
It seems also that Erika has gone with the wind, not to use a title or anything. James too seems to have gone. I suspect our use of the word Poop gets too rough for some.Did I mention I'm pissed off today? No? Well I am. Why? Hell I don't know, I woke up that way. I'll try, TRY to be my usual charming self. Even if I'm gutted with guilt over Ishiguro.
Hyper in the morning? I wish I was like that. I'm like satan's daughter in the morning. Thankyou for the welcome!
My favorite authors are Anne Rice, John Marsden, Joanne Harris, Jean. M. Auel, Jane Austen, Terry Pratchett, J.K.Rowling (of course), Douglas Adams....
Yes, I'm sorry my profile is private. It's because my mother has a GR account and I don't want her to read a certain poem :)
Your secret is safe with us, so long as your mother doesn't join TC. lolThanks for the info on the authors. And post away in here, because a lot of people are bores. Me included. heheheheehehhehe OH. Tomorrow Heidi will be back and will tell you about the ficus.
Welcome Lorna, nachos is a good start. I'm not sure if Stephen is hyper, I think he may just get bored easily, and when that happens watch out.
Haha. Oh that's funny. I'm afraid I'm not very good at being goofy, but now I'll be sure to make an effort!
Geez Bun, you let the tree house secret out pretty easily. Lorna, we like nachos behind the ficus, they go well with our beer and big screen.
Hi Lorna! There are so many good and kind and wise people in this group. You will not get bored, that is for sure!

I'm pretty sure she would have found out sooner than later, especially when Sally comes back. I don't think the ficus has been scooted for awhile, I may need to dust back there.

Boy have I missed a lot this week. Can I have wine behind the ficus. Or maybe tequila? *needs more nachos...cheesy pasta shells just isn't cutting it...
We have been known to have Margaritas every now and then, and wine is fine too.
Hello! I've been lurking for a while but you all seem kind of weird and quirky and I'm weird and quirky so I thought I'd join in the fun. Can I play?
Welcome to TC Jaimie, may you find all the quirkiness you are looking for here. And hopefully some other stuff too.
Talk about quirkiness...any group of people that can make an entire discussion about pants is pretty cool in my book. :-)
RA, Sally, Heidi - here is a suggestion: why don't you delete some threads that no one has commented on for like more than 2 weeks. there is getting to be so many old and dead ones to scroll through. you can delete any thread i started and my feelings will not be hurt one skosh. just an idea...
Why do we need to delete them? can't you just mark them as read and then start over with the new ones? I don't like the idea of deleting them. I like to go back and revisit old times sometimes.
just a suggestion sals. only because i sort of feel overwhelmed by the sheer number of thread topics. i do mark them read but some just seem irrelevant. are you asking me to just pretend they are not there sally? cause i suppose i can do that but i am not going to like it
Ha! There are many, I concur. But isn't deleting them just a more overt way to pretend they don't exist?
You could put them into an 'archive' section the way we do at TN. Move them there if they haven't had any posts in three months or something like that.
I like the idea of the 'archive' section. That gives us TC newbies a chance to go back and see what everyone is like. I did that with this thread before I posted. I couldn't stop laughing when I was reading the first few pages. Also, if there are some on-going threads that are getting really long, you can archive those as well and create a part 2 thread. A message board I belong to outside of GR does that with our "Anything Goes" thread. It's just like the "Right now I'm..." thread here. After a time, they'll close that thread (I don't know if you can do that here) and start a new "Anything Goes" thread.
