Title and subtitle

Hi, I tried to add my book that has a changed subtitle but the system says the ASIN and ISBN are taken and GR will not allow the entry of the new subtitle.

ASIN: B00WQDUSYC
ISBN-10: 1512121185
ISBN-13: 978-1512121186

Is there a way I can get around this or will someone with more power kindly add it please?

An ASIN or isbn can only be used once in the Goodreads database.
A book with a new title or subtitle should be treated the same way as we treat editions that have a new cover.

Basically: add a new edition. Add the ASIN or isbn to the description instead of the ASIN/isbn field.

Thank you. Of course, I messed it up by creating a new title instead of a new edition. Now I can't add the new edition to my author dashboard and and when clicking "this is me" I get the error "Sorry, you are already in the author program as George Sherwood and only one author profile may be claimed at a time. For more information click here." The book is Uncivil Twilight with two different subtitles. How do I fix it? Thanks again.

Moved them to your profile and combined with the other editions.

As the author, you have the ability to change which edition of the book is the default, which will come up in searches by title and show on your author profile.

Hi, all is good now except the book and link from the Author Dashboard is still the old edition with the old cover and subtitle. I've looked and looked for how to update it but found no way to do so. Please advise.

Changing the default won't affect your dashboard, but no one sees that but you.
