Joe (symphony_red) | 377 comments Here's the publisher's image (note the number in the URL is not the ISBN):
http://images.randomhouse.com/cover/9...

Here's the image in context on the Random House site:
http://www.penguinrandomhouseaudio.co...

Also please correct: Joe Mantegna is the narrator, not "translation".

Thanks

Alex | 2736 comments That really is the ISBN though for that cover's edition... I did find a different cover, with the publisher's logo in the upper right corner on a library site, though it's a lower quality image, unfortunately: https://know.freelibrary.org/covers/l...

Added that to the record, filled in some info and corrected narrator.

Joe (symphony_red) | 377 comments Please use the image from the Random House site -- the publisher is Penguin Random House Audio Publishing Group not Books on Tape (although Books on Tape is owned by Random House). The image should not include the Books On Tape logo.

Again I refer you to the link in the Random House catalog:
http://www.penguinrandomhouseaudio.co...

Here is the Overdrive entry (which is the distributor) also listing Penguin Random House Audio Publishing Group not Books on Tape as the publisher.
https://www.overdrive.com/media/45132...

Joe (symphony_red) | 377 comments Also, why did you change the original poster's publisher to Books On Tape?

It has never been changed; the automatic importer entered it as the publisher when it originally created the record, based on wherever it gets its information from.

Though the search for the record's ISBN brings up that page, the ISBN of that particular entry is 9780739384886, as seen below the price, making it irrelevant to this request.

I couldn't find an ISBN on that page, so it can't be used as proof of your claim.

WorldCat, a trusted resource, does have an entry for this ISBN:
http://www.worldcat.org/title/sixkill...
It has 'Books on Tape' as the publisher.

However, of the libraries I checked by searching for the ISBN, half came up with the Random House Audio, and half with the Books on Tape cover & info.

Do you own the Random House Audio edition and can confirm it has this ISBN?

Personally, I think the audiobook was originally published by Books on Tape, but when the imprint began being marketed exclusively to libraries and schools, it was republished under the same ISBN by Random House Audio.

Joe (symphony_red) | 377 comments When I made my post, the GR entry listed Penguin Random House Audio Publishing Group as the publisher.

That ISBN isn't purchasable by the general public; it's only available to libraries.

Here's another Overdrive link, the ISBN is under the title information tab:
http://piercecounty.lib.overdrive.com...

I imagine Books On Tape produced the audiobook, but being owned now by Random House it amounts to the same thing. I would opt for the higher resolution Random House image plus it matches the Overdrive image which is used by virtually all libraries loaning downloadable audiobooks.

No, it did not, here is the changelog for this entry:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/edits/...

In any case, there is enough proof that both editions exist or have existed with that ISBN, so I have created a record for the Random House Audio edition here, noting it as an ISBN conflict instead of a regular Alternate Cover Edition due to the change of publisher imprint.

Joe (symphony_red) | 377 comments Regardless of what people entered in the log, the publisher was listed as Penguin Random House Audio Publishing Group otherwise I would have suggested the BOT image originally.
