Most of my book covers are old ones

I can see more recent editions if I click on the book but I want the most recent covers to be the default ones. I have a lot of books and so it is time-consuming and confusing trying to get the right edition as default.

I did what was suggested in the link you showed but when I click on my books, all the old covers are still showing :(
I was told that it took about ten minutes for new covers to show but I changed them about three hours ago

Well the strange thing is - when I do a search, the new main edition shows up but on my own page all the old covers are showing. I don't know if you can see this but this page (1 of 2) is showing mostly old covers except where those haven't changed:

I tried a couple, but they both have the same cover for all editions. I would need one where you have just made the new cover the default.

But since you say they show up correctly in search, it must be a caching issue. It can take up to 48 hrs for the covers to show up correctly everywhere.

N.B. On your author dashboard the covers will not change, but only you can see your dashboard.

That page is specifically editions you have shelved. Those won't change unless you change which edition of each you have shelved -- and that's deliberate. Users don't want to find that someone has gone and changed a book edition they have shelved.

The covers you have set as the default will show up on your author page (https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...), your list of published works (https://www.goodreads.com/author/list...), and in search results for searches by title or author.

I see most of the new covers are showing when I click on the second link. I will wait to see if the others show up in the next day or two.
