Kristine Sandy (kristinemarie54) | 9 comments This book (dead tree) was written in the 80s or 90s and took place during WWII in New York City. A reporter is trying to find (either physically or just uncover information - I'm not sure which) Nazis who are living and plotting in subterranean tunnels - maybe their own subway system?

I think this book is probably spy/action/adventure.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Kristine, you might find some clues is this other request - https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Does this book offer an alternative history of WWII?

I don't think it is alternate history in the scifi sense, but it is fiction.

Thanks for the link, I'll check it out.

Any chance it's the book found in the other request - Clash of Eagles by Leo Rutman?

Kristine Sandy (kristinemarie54) | 9 comments Thanks for the suggestion! I am trying to find this book for someone else so I will ask these follow up questions (and see if these titles ring any bells) and let you know.

Thank you thank you!

Tab (tabbrown) | 4873 comments Not quite what you are looking for, but in Vienna Prelude, there is a reporter from the "New York Times" stationed Europe.

Do you remember the cover?
Part of a series?
Did you read this in the 80s/90s or years later?
