Bruce | 32 comments In 2014, B&N removed digital download audiobooks as a separate service from their website, but it appears to be back now on the Nook app. Has anyone tried it?

It should work on any of the newer Samsung co-branded Nook tablets or any device using the Nook app.

Maybe it was never gone and I missed it.

Zack | 21 comments I downloaded the Nook Audio app but for the promise of free audio books but I have not tried it because every free book I saw was already free on LibriVox and their app didn't require credit information for free items.

Keep in mind that Nook audiobooks are narrated by professionals and LibriVox audiobooks are narrated by amateurs. Sometimes the LibriVox readings are quite good, but usually they're mediocre and frequently read by more than one person; which I find quite irritating.
