I've never read any of James Patterson's work prior to The Murder House, so it was interesting to discover that my son has. He's read Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life.

According to this interview James Patterson was inspired to crossover into Young Adult because of his son. As a mother that has struggled to get her child to read, I was excited to learn about his website whose sole purpose is to get kids reading.

Tom | 263 comments Patterson also (I believe) recently donated $250,000 of his own money to independent booksellers. Good stuff.

I was just watching a Book Tube video that mentions that James Patterson doesn't write his own books. This surprised me and so I looked it up and thought I'd share.
