January 2016 adult choice

Since January has 31 days and February has 29 (yay for Leap Years and an extra day for reading!) I would suggest we nominate a longer book for January and something shorter for February. As always, though, we'll read whatever strikes our fancy, so please post your nominations from our 101 Books list!

I nominate Snow Falling on Cedars. Although it's one I've read, I'd love the opportunity to discuss it as a group.

A longer one for January eh? Everyone here has probably already read it, but I haven't yet so I'd like to nominate Wuthering Heights. I love the classic 1939 movie, but I've heard it's different than the book so would like to read it.

I'd be interested in reading Wuthering Heights! I read it back in high school, but that was a long long long time ago!

All good choices! I'm up for any of them, so I won't nominate anything additional. Snow Falling on Cedars is a great book for discussion and I would enjoy a re-read. Wuthering Heights and Beloved have both been on my TBR for far too long, so I'm good with either as well.

I'll give it a couple more days, then post the poll, so we can get all that taken care of before Christmas and New Year's, etc, are all in full swing. I know Hannukah is already there, but I think it's wrapping up soon, so hopefully I'll catch everyone in between holidays :)
