I just had a question. I was looking for a dutch edition of 'The Adventures of Tom Thumb by Marianna Mayer' and when i couldn't find it I added it via the add edition button. It was after, that i saw that only librarians can add books. I am realy sorry for breaking the rules. How did I get a librarian status without requesting it. And how do I undo my faux pas and undo my status? https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

No, any user can manually add a book.

You don't have to do anything. The book you uploaded is ok. I wish everyone adds books with the same accuracy as you did.I have added the isbn13 to the book, and the page count (from kb.nl).
You can ask a librarian, or you can add the book yourself. Both are perfectly fine, and allowed. See https://www.goodreads.com/help#find_b...
