It's that time. We'll be starting a new group read next month. Start with nominations and then we'll put up a poll later this month.

Wow...that looks like an awesome story. I've marked it to-read, but I won't touch it until books 2 and 3 are done. Right now, it's book 1 in an unfinished trilogy, it looks like.

The Heresy Within sounds good and there are three books.

message 13: by Silvana (new)

Silvana (silvaubrey) Twelve Kings has non medieval/western setting so it would be refreshing for those who want something different, I think.

message 14: by Kieron (new)

Kieron I nominate The Heroessimply because it is on my TBR list and I don't want to start another series.

message 15: by Greta (new)

Greta | 53 comments The Heroes was my favorite of those 3!!

message 16: by Kieron (new)

Kieron Would you say The Heroes could be read as a stand alone or is the 2nd book of a trilogy.

message 17: by Greta (new)

Greta | 53 comments I think you need to read the First Law Trilogy first (starting with The Blade Itself) but personally feel that the First Law World books can be read in any order after that.

Heroes could be read as a stand alone. That said, it has characters from the First Law.

I do not believe I made a nomination. I'll put Beyond Redemption as my choice.
