Each month we will read a public domain book in a certain genre, about a particular subject, or by an chosen author. Report which book or story you've decided to read. Feel free to discuss what you're reading and the author's writing style. Don't forget to leave a review of your selected work.

December's theme is a story set at Christmastime.

Here are a few books to get you thinking:
The Upas Tree
Old Christmas
A Christmas Mystery The Story of Three Wise Men
Colonel Crockett's Co-operative Christmas
On Christmas Day in the Morning
Jimsy The Christmas Kid
Miss Santa Claus of the Pullman
The Goblins' Christmas
The Thin Santa Claus: The Chicken Yard That Was a Christmas Stocking
The Abbot's Ghost, or Maurice Treherne's Temptation: A Christmas Story

I decided to read a book that I had read a couple of years ago, Miss Santa Claus of the Pullman. I really enjoyed it the first time, and I liked it even more this time. Fair warning, it is a Christian story.

Here's a quote that I found this time reading through the book: "'s just easy to be good as it is to be bad when you once get used to trying." I think that's true. Attitude and deciding what you want to do makes all the difference.
