"Don't. He's just being lazy," Sol told Hope.

Hope made a face. "Actually, yes. But if it's any book that you want me to read, I would rather burn."
"Because you should do your own work!" Sol growled back.
"While this is all very interesting, it would be in Patty's best interests to read the book," Sol said, bored.
"Yeah. I'm sure his brain could use the work out." Hope wasn't entirely sure why she was being so mean! Oh wait, she did. It was because she pretty much hated Patrick's guts.
"Just read the book, Patty," Sol told him.
He threw the book on Sol."don't you ever call me that again! And I will read the book. If you never call me that again."
"Fine. You've got a deal," Sol replied nonchalantly.
"READ!" Sol thundered. "AND CALM DOWN, THE BOTH OF YOU!"
"I wold like to see you try." Hope said in a cheery I-hate-you voice. She sat back down and flicked her hand under the table. She grinned when Patrick's hair suddenly got sopping wet.
"Nice," Sol said with a smirk. "But no more pranking, okay?"
((I gtg too; I'm going to help out with a group))
Jayden walked in and saw the librarian roll her eyes and groan. He grinned, for the first time he wasn't planing anything. He went to one of the shelves looking for any book on going through objects.
Solstice followed him, passing through a few tables as she walked to the shelves. She looked over the titles, but she wasn't able to find anything. "Jay, you sure we'll find something in here?" Sol asked him, pursing her lips.
"Not sure at all. I would think since this isn't a normal school we wouldn't have normal books." He kept looking. He couldn't find anything either. "Books are overrated anyways. Computers are a lot better." He sat down at one of the library computers.
"I don't think Google can exactly unlock all the answers to stop me from dissolving and solidifying randomly," Sol replied, looking over Jay's shoulder to see what was happening on the screen.
"You'd be surprised." Jay said. He rubbed his hands together before typing and it came up with theory's, stories and information. "This is what I call magic." He spread his hands.
"You're good with technology," Solstice told him, surprised. "Wow. I never expected this much information in a few seconds, all in this tiny screen." She lightly tapped the computer screen. "Is this real?"
"I keep forgetting your from the 1900s. I'm not very good with technology just have a way with words." He said and started to read some of the stuff about it. He scrolled down past the theory's to the information.
"Oh, look!" Solstice pointed to a spot where the information started and began reading. "Only a ghost brought back from death has this power. Normally, the reanimated ghost retains some ghostly qualities." She looked at the screen for a second more. "Wow, the internet is smart."
Jayden was confused. She didn't seem like a ghost except for the death stuff. He thought ghosts were transparent and you could stick a hand through them. She was so warm and...humanly. He was staring, "Uh yeah it's really smart."
"You know, I have a half-sister who's just like what the website describes. I could ask her how she does it," Solstice told Jayden, meeting his gaze. "What? Do I have something on face?" she asked.
"No. Uh sorry." He said. He looked back to the computer. "I didn't know you had a half sister." He tried to change the subject.
"Yeah. She's like me- raised from the Underworld, though you probably don't want to hear about that." Sol stared at Jayden a second more and then turned to the computer. "She has some of the qualities that the website states here."
"I'll listen. I was just kidding about not wanting to listen about death. Death is cool." He gave her a half smile. He turned the computer off and turned to her. "So tell me."
"Not much to tell," Sol said with a grin, pulling up a chair to sit next to Jayden. "She was brought back from the dead like me, but she's more… balanced than I am. My powers are all crazy. She has complete control over them." Solstice sighed, brushing a loose curl of hair from her eyes. "Enough about me. What about you? Tell me about yourself."
"Not much to tell about myself either. Grew up traveling the world in the Jolly Roger with my dad, his crew and Mr.Smee, wanting to be a pirate. I always enjoyed stealing, the calm sound of the sea and the sharp swords. Then I do one thing wrong and I get sent here." He sighed. He hated this place the first couple days he was here but got used to it finally. He was so lonely until he met Patrick. That was probably why he protected him.
"Wow." Solstice could almost envision Jayden's life. Except for the ocean part. "I've never seen the ocean… Is it very big? And blue? Like the books say?"
Patrick was still sitting in the library reading that stupid book. He hadn't even noticed Sol and Jay come in. Once He did though, he slammed the book onto the table and went to join them."what Are you people doing without me?"
He couldn't believe she'd never seen the ocean before, "Its huge and very blue. I plan to return someday with a crew and ship of my own." That was his goal and he dreamed of it every night and at day time. Captain Jayden Hook. He liked the sound the of that.
"Solving my little problem," Sol replied with a sigh.
"Hey Patrick." Jay said with a wave. He was nervous though.
