YA author would love to be friends

I'm a YA author with a novel in progress. For years I wrote short stories, then discovered how much I love YA--when my son started handing me his books and saying, "Read this!"

Still figuring out how this all works, but would love to read with a buddy.

I live in Minnesota, love my husband and son and our crazy corgi.

Just out of curiosity, what books did your son get you to read that made you interested in YA?

I've been where you are/ but I've finally self published my ya novel/ here's a bit of background:
