"There's the spirit." Candie says while taking out her phone and sits on a bench nearby. She starts taking a video of the team practice.

Jayden didn't play on the team but loved football. He just didn't like working with others. He sat down on the bench, grabbed a ball and moved it from hand to hand a couple times then sighed.

Solstice wanted to show school spirit. She normally didn't show up for sports, but she had nothing else to do… She looked for a friendly face in the crowd and spotted Jayden. The boy from the library. Solstice took a seat next to him, saying a soft hello.
