You click on it. Then there is a list and you use this option:

Then you copy the image link where the goodreads link is and change the width and height (I often use 200 for both).

What would you like to watch? When the movie is based on a book, nothing in the movie was added or changed :). The actors are right and the movie is unabridged :D

They pause the movie so Lara can get some water and when she gets back Caroline has a surprise for Lara :)

Once Lara sits down Caroline says "This is your Christmas present!"

Lara smiles and says "Should I open it now?" "Yes :)"

"Ok" Lara says, Then shakes the Package. "Hmmmmm"

Caroline Smiles :)

Then Lara rips open the package. "What?"

"Yes tickets to go to the Caribbean" Caroline says

Lara says: "Thank you <3 This is such a wonderful surprise! I don't know how can I thank you enough...What is your Christmas wish, Caroline? You are so kind."

Lara sits on her couch and is reading Percy Jackson.
"But I can tun it into a movi e?! What do you think, Jack?"
Jack: "Wroof."
Lara: "I think, this means yes" And she turn on her TV and fetches for some more Salted Caramel Popcorn. Jack whines loudly. "You can't have popcorn, Jackyboy. There is sugar in it." She plops another one in her mouth. It melts on her tongue. Jack looks pleadingly.
"No, Jack, no". Jack cries a bit.
"Jack, they are not good for your health and that's it. Please watch the movie silent. You can also snuggle into your blanket then."
Jack looks happy and excited and lays his head next to Lara's lap while he is snuggling into his blanket. He looks comforty and with a wide grin. Yet, he sometimes glances to the popcorn.

Lara had a difficult day. It's still half of the day ahead of her, but she decides to take a nap. She is sleeping in her wonderful, blue bed with the colourful, handmade blanket she got from her mum.
Jack looks at her sad. "No, Jack, please. Go to your own dog bed and sleep there." She is putting her sleeping mask and her headphones on.
Jack whines a bit, but then he decides to goto his own dog bed reluctantly. He uses the star blanket to lay it over his head and body. He likes to sleep that way and on his back like a human.
"He is sometimes more human than any human I know...", Lara thinks.

[Butterfly]

Lara is a bit sleepy, but she is also so excited about Christmas. It is her first Christmas here on the Star island with Jack Harkness. And her dog also seems pretty overjoyed.
"What we will do tomorrow and the day after tomorrow? What will we eat? Would you like to eat something special, Jack?"
Jack sniffed at her and sneezed.
"Yes, Jack, a turkey roast would be yummi. And broccoli with it?"
Jack shakes himself heavy and looks down.
"Oh, Jack, you know, broccoli is not bad for you. You can't only eat your treats, dog food and turkey. I know dogs eat more meat, however you also need to eat your vegetables."
Jack whines and looks deeply into Lara's eyes like he wants to excuse his behaviour.
"I know, Jack. You're a good boy."

"Jack, we need to prepare a pea soup now. You're going to help me or not? If not go and watch a movie, please."
"Wroof.", Jack barks enthusiastical and loves to help Lara.
"Ok, we need...

"Serves 4

30g butter
4 spring onions, chopped
2 rashers of smoked streaky bacon, chopped
450g shelled peas (about 1.2kg of pods) plus 5 pods
750ml water (or vegetable stock if you're omitting the bacon)
Pinch of sugar, optional
Squeeze of lemon juice
Small bunch of mint, chopped and creme fraiche, to serve

1. Heat the butter over a medium heat in a large pan and add the spring onions and bacon. Sweat until cooked, but not coloured.

2. Add the peas and pods if using and stir well, then pour in 750ml water. Bring to the boil, then simmer until the peas are tender (about 10 minutes depending on size).

3. Remove the pods and puree the soup using a blender or hand blender then add the lemon juice and season to taste – you may also wish to add a pinch of sugar depending on the sweetness of your peas. Add a little more water if you'd prefer a thinner soup.

4. Reheat if serving hot and serve garnished with chopped mint and a swirl of creme fraiche."

"This will be our Christmas dinner", said Lara. "I only hope we will get the pears at the grocery store. We need them to bake a yumml cake."
Jack turns his head sideways and looks thoughtful.

Ingredients SWITCH TO CUP MEASURES

250 grams unsalted butter
300 ml sugar
4 eggs
300 grams flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
4 tablespoons milk (or cream)
6 pears (between 2 and 6, depending on size and personal taste - i like this cake with quite a lot of pears)
demerara sugar (for sprinkling on top)"

Method

In an electric mixer, mix butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs, one at the time, and stir well.
Sift the flour and baking powder together, mix some of it onto the batter, then add some of the milk, then some of the batter....etc. until all is blended. But mix as little as possible.
Smear half of the batter in a buttered spring form ("medium" sized, 23 cm or so).
Peel and take out the core of the pears, cut in pieces, and spread out on the bottom. Cover with the rest of the batter, and add a new layer of pear pieces if you like. Just push them a little down into the batter. Sprinkle with demerara sugar.
Bake in oven, 180 C (350 F) for 30-45 minutes, depending on the amount of pears used. (Many pears - more moist - more time.) But check after 30 minutes to be sure. Ready when a cake tester comes out clean. This can also be made as a loaf cake, just adjust the cooking time and temperature.

Lara is sitting on her comfy sofa and eating some popcorn while Jack Harkness, her dog, is sitting on his plushy blanket. He laid his head so that his nose is down on the blanket and his eyes are closed. "Are you tired, my loyal dog?", asks Lara.
Jack only sniffed a bit on the blanket.
"Yeah, I understand. You like to sleep a bit now and then. You can be quite lazy, you know?".
Jack looks like he has a slight smile on his face and then he lays his head on the side with his paw on his head.
"Yeah, of course, I forgive you. YOU are my cuddly pet dog, you know that." And then she strokes him on his back.

"Let us watch some Pirates of the Carribean. Yes, there is also a Jack in it. I know you love Captain Jack." Suddenly Jack Harkness jumps on the sofa and then he looks down where his blanket is.
"Of course, your blanket can't be missed. Here it is." And Lara smiles.
