I'll probably read Monster Hunter too, if I'm not too much busy (the other option is shorter). I'm curious about The Missing Ink and the Disenchanted & Co. series.
I liked Divergent, I hope you'll enjoy it too (the sequels were less interesting). Blameless was better than Changeless, I'll probably finish the series at the beginning of the year.

I'm like you for week 44. There is not a whole that I am embarrassed to read in public, except for maybe children's books. I went with The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty Beauty's Punishment and Beauty's Release. I picked this series because people don't take Anne Rice serious for this series. I hear it's supposed to be a better version of Fifty Shades of Grey.
For week 7 I highly recommend The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry and What If?: Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions for week 14.
I read The Storied Life for the 2015 challenge, and have What If? on my challenge list for this year. It seems like a book that I will slowly read all year long; just small chunks at a time.

I have been wanting to read your recs for weeks 7 and 14.

I gave up on FSOG by page 11. The writing was just so terrible that I could not bring myself to read another word. I don't understand how it has done so well, except for the taboo-hype of it.
