C.F. Waller | 4 comments This site is so confusing? I joined when I didn't know much, but now I need to sort out my profile and books I have written. It's impossible? Two of my books won't add as mine and the other three are old versions with wrong covers? Help ?

Arenda | 19920 comments Moved some of your books to your profile.
When one of your books is on Goodreads, but not on your profile, please ask here in the Librarians Group to have it moved to your profile. Please include a link to the book, or at least the title.
Merged duplicate editions that had no cover, isbn/ASIN or other details.

Arenda | 19920 comments Goodreads policy is to keep all published covers on the site, as users want to shelve the cover of the copy they have.
Instead, we add an alternate-cover edition.

Alternate-cover editions added here:
Far Forward:
Palindrome 656:
There were the only one where Amazon had a different cover.

As the author, you have the ability to change which edition of the book is the default, which will come up in searches by title and show on your author profile.
Here's how:

The edition of Free Dive I need added is this

And the edition of Far Forward is this one

Once you ass those then I merge them into one?

Arenda | 19920 comments Free Drive was already on Goodreads:
The new editions of Far Forward and Palindrome 656 are combined with the older editions.
I linked to the new editions in message 3.
When you are on your author page, you can see when there are more editions (next to publication year, are the editions). Clicking on 3 editions brings you to all editions for that title.
You can change which edition you want on your author page, as explained in message 3.
