Helping out the Lame-o's (( XD ))
Itzari and Boreas were halted, almost immediately upon entering the Guild. Mira/Erza/Makarov/Whatever stopped them and shook his/her head. "You're both seasoned, capable wizards... We need someone to do this job... for Fairy Tail itself."
Boreas frowned a bit and looked over at Itzari.
"What do you need Master?" he asked lifting an eyebrow and looking around the Guild Hall, aside from a strange feeling in the air nothing was amiss.

((I'm just going to name names and point fingers.))
"Jet and Droy went off on a mission... withot Levy," Makarov stated, like that in itself was significant enough. "They got themselves in trouble and need someone to help them... unfortunately, Levy is questing with Gajeel."

"Uhm....alright." said Boreas nodding his head. "So, where did they go?" he looked at Itzari, "and what was their job?" He wanted to know everything before they set out, if there was going to be trouble he wanted to be prepared for it.
Makarov shook his head. "It was to identify gamblers in a betting den," he sighed. "They got... caught up."
He seemed shocked. "They lost their money, they're in debt... legally..." he sighed. "If you can free them by bargaining with their debt holders... Well. To flee now, they would be brought to trial. Shady as it may be... this is a legitimate place."
"They should just work it off like most people who get into those kinds of messes." said Boreas frowning. "And it doesn't sound like the kind of job that we'd get paid for." he added under his breath.
"The guild will pay you," Makarov said hastily, "But we don't want gamblers thinking of Fairy Tail as a source of ready money... And we want Jet and Droy to pay off their own debt, of course, but... They owe quite a lot, and I doubt their skills are up to par."
Boreas let out a rather impressive sigh. After a long moment he nodded, he had crossed his arms and had quite the frown on his face.
"Alright master."
"Alright master."
Itzari frowned as well. "Why us?" she piped up, after a good deal of silence.
Makarov smiled, "Because no one else would do it. Good luck!" he pressed the paper into their hands and practically fled.

Boreas let out another sigh and looked at her. "I think we've been scammed." he said smirking a little and shrugging.
Itzari stared at the little paper. "I think so too... It doesn't even say how much Makarov will pay," she frowned. "Well... perhaps it will be fun?"
"Right... she looked down. "It's here in the city, at a casino... downtown, I think," she passed the paper to him. "It's within walking distance."
"Then I guess we will walk." he said smiling at her. "Not exactly the adventure I was expecting us to take, as our first job together."
"I'm sure it'll be just as nice... somehow," she pointed out, strolling slightly forwards. "Well... It was funny to see Makarov act that way."
"He just dosen't want to be footed with the bill!" said Boreas chuckling a bit. "I don't know, Casino's and gambling rings aren't the types of adventures that I was thinking about."
"Well, he'll be footed all right if he wastes our time, footed in the rear," she said darkly. "So... I wonder why Jet and Droy didn't go with Levy..."
"They probably went on a job to try and impress her when she took off with Gajeel." he said shrugging. "I don't know much about what the others do but I know that those two are, sort of a couple."
"I suppose," she agreed. "I'm sure that's it... They probably don't want this told to her or anyone, but I'm sure Makarov has already asked practically everybody," she sighed happily. "They're almost ridiculous."
"Well he said that we were capable, so I don't how many people he's told." said Boreas walking along. "I just don't think this will be worth it."
"Well...should we leave Jet and Droy to figure it out on their own and disobey the Guild Master?" she asked twiddling her thumbs.
"lets make sure that they're not in mortal danger then supervise there work....we can make a day of it." he said smirking and chuckling a bit.
"A vacation at the casino making sure they pay off their debts," she smiled, "What could be better?"
"We'll see what happens." he said smirking as they continued to walk along. "Good thing the casino isn't on the other end of town or anything." he mused looking down the main street.
"Well, yeah," she smiled, "I hope we don't need to work to get their debts paid off... I'd have to slap them both."
"I am NOT working to help them clean up their mess. I will supervise." he said pointing up at the sky and smirking a bit.
"Isn't the job to get them out as fast as possible?" she wondered. "Whatever works. As long as it's not that bad."
"Well they need to pay their dues, and if they don't have money, they'll have to work it off. Unless they're actually in trouble."
"We shall." he said chuckling and putting his arm over her shoulders. "I do hope they didn't get into anything sketchy over there."
"Ten to one..? They probably did," she sighed. "But maybe that'll make it just more interesting."
"We'll have to see, I think that's the casino there right?" asked Boreas pointing, he had never been to a casino before so this would be very interesting. When he thought about it, there was a LOT of stuff that he had never done. He really was an anti-social weather controlling, country bumpkin.
Maybe he should try and change that a bit.
Maybe he should try and change that a bit.
"Yeah, that's the Casino! I remember, I had a job here once that was incredibly insane," she smiled, taking his hand. "Let's go rescue our friends before they get killed for their stupidity, huh?"
"Oh lets, you lead the way." he said taking her hand and looking at the large building with barley hidden awe. He was always surprised to see different kinds of architecture and decorations.
She guided him into the garish building, strolling down to the front register. "Hullo, we're looking for Jet and Droy? We've been sent to help them pay their debt."
A young man working at the desk looked at the two of them, gave quite the annoyed sigh and nodded.
"This way.' he said making a gesture with his hand before he started to walk toward a closed door.

"I don't know what they did, but the boss looked annoyed so they must've done something stupid." said the guy opening the door. It lead to a hallway lined with other doors. "They're in the back, working off their debts and what not."
Boreas nodded and looked around what an interesting place this was. This area looked like a hotel.

((Night!))
"How?" she asked, "Out back like this?" She smiled, glancing at Boreas, like there was a hidden joke to make here.

Boreas looked over at her and shrugged. He was guessing is was some sort of secret office or something. He wasn't sure.
The man walked up to what looked like a wall and muttered something. After a moment of silence, the wall seemed to blink out of existence and an entranceway was revealed.

She stepped through and saw Jet and Droy sitting pitifully like children in detention. She glanced about and noticed a man standing on the opposite side of the room. "So, exactly what sort of trouble are you in?" she asked, facing the two shamefaced guildmates.
Jet looked up piteously. "We didn't realize the chips meant that much money..."
Jet looked up piteously. "We didn't realize the chips meant that much money..."
"You lost a lot of money then." said Boreas, not entirely sure what they had done, but he did know that the chips were worth more than one Jewel a piece. "So what kind of work are they going to be doing to pay off this debt then?" he asked putting his hands behind his back.
"Indeed they did," the man said, "There's at least five thousand jewel to the lowest color chip. They were gambling with red ones... Chips worth 50,000 jewel."
"We lost big," Droy whined.
"We lost big," Droy whined.
"Sounds like it. You're going to be working that off for a while." said Boreas looking at Itzari. "I don't know much about gambling but I imagine hard labor is not the worst thing they could have done to you two." he looked at the man he assumed was the owner of the casino.
