Eli Denslow Wu-Tang, Shaolin and hip hop. These are the three things that you need to know to understand the book The Tao of Wu. Most of you who want to read this book probably already know this, but for those who don't, The Tao of Wu is the second philosophical book written by Wu-Tang Clan member and principal producer, RZA. It is a sequel to The Wu-Tang Manual. This book will teach you how the brotherhood of Wu-Tang and how they become such prominent Wu-Tang members.

RZA (Robert Fitzgerald Diggs) has been in the Wu-Tang clan since 1992. Him and his cousins GZA and Ol’ Dirty Bastard started the Wu-Tang Clan. RZA was the youngest of them all, and growing up in the projects with his big family wasn’t the easiest. He became a man fast, learning the harsh reality of this world as he stepped into a new foundation. The Wu-Tang Clan was all built off of one group of neighborhood kids from the projects who have dreams to make it as rappers.
RZA got involved with petty crime and drug-dealing, and was charged with attempted murder while in Steubenville, Pittsburgh. He was acquitted of the charge, giving him what he stated was a "second chance". He is named after Robert Kennedy and John Fitzgerald Kennedy. His mother greatly admired the Kennedys, the RZA has called his given name an "honorable" name, given the legacy of both brothers Robert and John. I would give this book a 9.5/10 for its great detail and for the amazing journey of Wu-Tang Clan.
